Yellowstone Country Assistance Network (YCAN), a Wyoming nonprofit, is committed to supporting our community with housing, utilities, and more!
💡 What We Did in 2025
With the federal CSBG block grant (Oct 2024 – Mar 2025), we:
🏠 Helped 84 individuals avoid eviction
🔌 Kept utilities on for 11 people
🛏️ Provided 330 bed nights to house the homeless
All this while partnering with local organizations to connect people to CSBG services!
Struggling with Rent or Utilities? We’ve Got You Covered.
When rent or utility bills pile up, Park County residents don’t have to face it alone. The Yellowstone Country Assistance Network (YCAN) collaborates with local partners to deliver one-time financial relief—simple, no-nonsense help keeping you steady.

How It Works
- Trusted Local Partners: We collaborate with First Stop of Park County, One Health in Powell and Cody, Park County Court Supervised Treatment, and Open Space Counseling.
- Your Case Manager: A friendly guide will help you apply for YCAN aid and tap into other community resources tailored to your needs.
- CSBG Funding: It’s a federal program with federal rules. If your income qualifies, our partners submit your application for a one-time payment—rent, utilities, or essentials. (We don’t set the regulations—we follow the grant!)
Do You Qualify?
- Live in Park County, Wyoming.
- Struggling to pay rent or utilities.
- Income meets federal guidelines (your case manager will check this for you).
- Note: This is a one-time help to get you back on track. Applied last year? We’ll ask you to work on a budget and set longer-term goals with your case manager. Unemployed? Let’s enroll you with Wyoming Workforce Services —we’re here to build self-sufficiency, not dependency.
Outside Park County? Call Wyoming 2-1-1 at 1-888-425-7138 for help in your area.
