Knowing where to turn for help is critical in times of crisis. Our community is fortunate to have various emergency services and financial assistance programs to support individuals and families facing emergencies. Whether it’s immediate medical intervention, assistance during natural disasters, or support through personal crises, resources are available to help navigate these challenging times.
#### Emergency Services Overview:
**In an Emergency:** Always call **911** immediately if you are in a dangerous situation. Law enforcement is trained to respond swiftly and ensure your safety.
Ambulance Services provides acute care and transportation for those with severe health issues, ensuring swift medical intervention; call 9-1-1.
Fire services go beyond firefighting; they provide rescue services for various emergencies and handle hazardous situations; call 9-1-1.
Police maintain public order and safety, address various emergencies, and enforce law; call 9-1-1 or your local police or sheriff’s department.
**Emergency Financial Assistance** Provides aid for individuals and communities impacted by disasters, including temporary housing, home repairs, and essential personal items. Local nonprofits or volunteers often operate these programs and may not offer after-hours services.
