Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) provides temporary cash assistance for needy families.
There are two forms of TANF in Wyoming:
- The POWER Work program
- It helps individuals find employment or other financial stability based on YOUR needs.

- The POWER Caretaker Relative program
- Provides cash assistance to family members, such as grandparents, aunts, or uncles, who are the primary caregivers to children whose parents are not in the same home and are responsible for the daily care and control of the children.
